Mark Delgado

VP Design and Business Development

Mark started his professional design career as an intern architect in his native San Diego back in 1999. Mark’s passion for the “design” component of dcb’s design-build philosophy has helped make him an invaluable resource to the company. Mark’s primary focus is leading the front end of dcb’s design services, including site due-diligence investigations, design and project visualization, programming and guiding projects through regulatory agencies. Integral to dcb’s design-build mission, Mark works closely with his team to ensure clients’ visions are realized to their fullest potential.

Mark’s professional and educational background in both architecture and urban design have helped him lead a wide range of project types including master planning, large commercial projects, institutional, transit oriented developments, and environmentally controlled self-storage facilities, just to name a few. The diversity of project types helps Mark always maintain an open minded approach to problem solving, particular to each clients’ objectives.

Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Woodbury University School of Architecture, and a post-professional master’s degree in architecture and urban design from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Mark gets along well with his fellow dcb employees and clients despite being an avid fan of the San Diego Chargers and Padres.
