Project Summary

dcb was hired to design the build the NOCO Disposal Services transfer station, which is a state-of-the-art waste management facility designed to support the city’s rapid growth and long-term infrastructure needs. The fully enclosed facility will receive and consolidate nonhazardous waste for transport to regional landfills, improving efficiency while reducing transportation costs, fuel consumption, road wear, and truck traffic. The project provides a sustainable solution for Greeley’s expanding population and future waste management demands. The 15,750 pre-engineered metal building includes a drive tunnel for the removal of waste. The site was built with inbound and outbound scales wit a manned scale house.
